Couch to 5K Beginners Running Course

Designed for complete beginners to running, our Wednesday evening Couch to 5K courses start every January, April, July and October.

Run JB's Couch-to-5k course gradually progresses from walk/jog to jogging a full 5km over the course of 8 weeks. In order to achieve the 5k target, participants are given a plan to follow in their own time involving two additional 30 mins sessions per week consisting of walk/jog intervals, finally progressing to a 28min jog. The course culminates with the group participating in a local 5k event, the local Swindon ParkRun, on the Saturday morning following the last session.
