JB Personal Training Terms and Conditions
Applicable from 1st Jan 2014
1) Personal Training Service
The trainer will use their knowledge and skills to design a safe programme of exercise that will take into account the client's personal goals, fitness levels and exercise likes and dislikes. JB Personal Training personal trainers are members of the Register of Exercise Professionals and are therefore bound by the REPs Code of Ethical Conduct.
2) Health Screening
All clients must complete a PAR-Q before commencing any exercise programme. Your trainer may require a letter of 'medical clearance' from your GP. Please be aware that your GP may charge you for this. All client information will be kept strictly private and confidential. If the trainer requires further medication or treatment information from a medical practitioner, the client must provide such details.
3) Commitment to Personal Training Sessions
Payment session blocks must be made in full in advance. All monies paid are non-refundable. One session must be completed every 7 days, otherwise one session will be forfeited. All blocks must be completed within 3 months of purchase or any remaining sessions will be forfeited. Exceptions may be made in special circumstances at the discretion of JB Personal Training.
4) Cancellation Policy for all Clients
Notice of cancellation of a session of less than 24 hours will incur full payment of the session fee, i.e. the session will be deducted from the remaining sessions in pre-purchased blocks. In the case of "Train with a partner or friend", in the event that one client is unable to train, the session may proceed on a one-to-one basis rather than the session being forfeited. For clients training at home, any interruptions due to domestic responsibilities will result in training time being reduced as the session will not be extended and will end at the appointed time.
5) Lateness Policy
All sessions shall be 55 minutes in duration. If the client is late for a session, the session will not be extended and will end at the appointed time. If the trainer is late, additional time will be added to the session or to subsequent sessions.
